The Northumberland Wildlife Trust, a charity dedicated to wildlife conservation and environmental education in North East England, are beginning a series of adrenaline rush events to help raise money and awareness for the trust.

The Baltic Art Gallery will host the first on Saturday 11th September, with a zip line going from the top of the building across the Tyne and onto the Newcastle side of the Quayside. It costs £30 to register and there is a minimum sponsorship of £120.

Roxy Music have announced their first UK tour in over a decade, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of this hugely influential band.

The seven date ‘For Your Pleasure’ UK tour commences on Tuesday 25th January 2011 in Newcastle as the band featuring the original line-up of Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay, Phil Manzanera and Paul Thompson make their highly anticipated return to the Metro Radio Arena.
